- Hey bud, great hack. TLDNR on the comment section below, but I was wondering if it's possible to use this as a embedable widget/badge instead of having it claim the bottom portion of the page...
- Hmmm. Sounds good
- Yeah nice, thanks for sharing.
- thanks, that was great.
- Currently no. We will be releasing a new version soon that allows you to pop the player into a new window. That way, you could still listen while surfing around.

In case you are looking for enhancements, I have a couple ideas that have
probably been mentioned already:
1. Random play mode - Give the user the option to play tracks in a random
sequence
2. Enable scrobbling for last.fm
However, I am extremely happy with what you've done to date and don't care
if you change it one bit. Thanks again!

The random should be fairly easy to implement, shouldn't it, Dan?

I'm a huge last.fm guy and scrobbling is very important to me. It is somewhat complex but is definitely on the to-do list.

If the SCRIPT tag doesn't need to appear in the HEAD, it might be better for users to paste this in their Description field. That will work for non-custom themes, and survive any theme changes.

I put it in the Description field and it seemed to hold up the page render a bit. It will work, but I think most people would rather not have their page wait for it.

Anyway you can hack this into the dashboard so we can listen to the people we follow as a playlist? Maybe a greasemonkey script or something? Ok, I'll shut up and go away now.
Awesome job.

can you tweak the code so it doesn't frame the page. I'd much rather have it set up so you have to scroll down to the bottom of the page to see the streampad player.
thoughts?

That's not an easy one. I'll take a look at what it takes to do that and follow up.

But being able to open the player in a small "pop-up" window might also come in handy :)

This will allow you to insert the player into an Tumblr blog that doesn't have it.
Please leave comments here or there. It should work exactly the same but you know how these things work!
