hi! awesome player, i'm totally in love. i couldn't find an answer to this anywhere, but on popout my player has blank song titles because it's reading the caption rather than the artist/song title info. is there a way to change this?

Not with the 'Other' version. It only know about songs ont he page. The Tumblr version knows about the last 30 songs you posted but that would have to be through the Tumblr interface.

Dan - I tried to redo my StreamPad player on my tumblog, and now its acting up a bit.

I'm having a lot of trouble changing the color on the "poweredbycolor" field. It won't change from standard white (#ffffff), no matter what I enter in the "&poweredbycolor=XXXXXX" field. I've changed the track text and other colors, but I haven't been able to change the color of this 1 field...

Has anyone else been reporting problems changing this field? Any ideas on what the problem could possibly be?

Put it in css -

opacity: 0.25;
}

I am not sure if it will work in IE though.

You can put it in the head of the html. If you already have some css there, just put it underneath it. If not, put <style type="text/css"> put it here... </style>

Hi, on my tumblr page, I have only my music playing: The Problem is - song names shown down in the strip are ok but the song names in the song list or in the popup or in the full screen option are some weird names. Now I managed to shut down the song list and popup but I can´t shut down the full screen option.
and my next question is, it is actually impossible to search the page and listen to the music at the same time. every time you go to the next page music stops.

please help

You can do that by editing your theme's code (specifically the part for audio posts) to include a download link for all externally-hosted mp3's. There are documents about it here.

Here's an example of how it looks on my Tumblr.

The code looks something like this:

From your dashboard, click "Customize"/Theme/Use Custom HTML".

Then, look for the part of the code that says: <div class="audio"> and then has your audio player, which looks something like this: {AudioPlayerblack}.

Note that It might not say "black" - it might say "AudioPlayerWhite" or "AudioPlayerGray" - and that's not important. What's important is that you add the following code right AFTER the "{AudioPlayerINSERT COLOR HERE}. The code to be inserted is:

{block:ExternalAudio}, Get this song{/block:ExternalAudio}

That should do it. If you click "update preview", save your changes, and visit your site, you should see the words "download" right after your audio post. To get the song via the link, right click and "save as."

Finished, it should look something like this:

<div class="audio"> {AudioPlayerblack} {block:ExternalAudio}, (change this to whatever you want it to say){/block:ExternalAudio}

You can change what how the link appears on your page (on my page it says "download"), by changing the term inside the "a" tag above.

Also, there's a helpful Firefox add-on that makes every audio post you view in the Firefox browser downloadable. You can check that out <http: bjornstar.com="" post="" 41662530="" tumtaster-some-people-will-like-this-some="">here. Since I use firefox, it makes sharing songs very very easy.
